My husband’s family is from Oregon County. Our children and myself floated the Eleven Point River from Turner’s Mill Access to Riverton recently. I would like to know why the river was so named. Thank you.
It’s my understanding that Eleven Point was because there were eleven points of access to the river. I will do some more research though.
